MDOC | Patient's Rights

★ Receive health care on basis of clinical need, and receive
emergency medical care and treatment at anytime easily & quickly.
★ Be referred to a consultant or specialist for special care when there is
a clinical need .
★ Receive verbal and written information about any proposed
treatment and to be told if there are any alternatives available.
★ Receive detailed simple explanation of their condition.
Receive care & treatment in best ways possible & after care follow up.
★ Be provided with Arabic/English interpreter service if needed .
★ A second opinion, or to have their care transferred to another physician if they are not satisfied with the care or opinion provided.
★ Have all clinical records kept fully update and relevant information fully documented, and protected from loss or misuse.
★ Privacy when interview or a treatment is conducted, they have the right to know who is attending and the porpoise
of attendance while meeting or treatment.
★ Know that their personal details and records are kept fully confidential at all times by MDOC staff.
★ Have any complaint that they may make, acknowledged within 2 working days, fully investigated, and be provided
with a written response within 28 days.
★ Accept refuse and discontinue the treatment.
★ Concent form treatment & have the general scope & limits of this consent explained & be informed of the treatment charges in advance .
★ Know the name of the Drs and the care providers .
★ Receive a proper protection if you are a women, child or disabled individual or elderly.
★ Be protected from any type of assault while a patient Have this valuable and personal belongings safe guarded.
