Renno's films were screened in both local and international film festivals including Cannes Film Festival in France. He became recognized as being the most serious actor in the UAE. Renno has also won Best Actor Award in Dubai 48 Hour Film Project.
A few years ago Renno jr. contacted the New York film academy to see if he could help out the students with their movies, creating a chance to not only act with them in their student films but to learn more about his passion in film-making.

The acting teachers noticed his acting in movies that he had previously done and asked him to come and assist the students in their acting classes. Because of his very specific ‘action hero’ look he found difficulty in Dubai finding other roles that move away from stereotype of an action star, so he still continued his Acting classes, but ventured in Martial Arts classes and Screening Writing classes to be able to write his own movies and create his own roles.
Renno jr. believes that the best way to get an opportunity is to create it yourself.
​filmmakers and directors became interested in working with him in movies as he was the first action actor in Dubai. After writing, directing, and acting in his last successful film "Motel Fin De La Route " in Dubai, Renno Jr. decided to leave everything and travel to Hollywood.

Taking inspiration from other artists in the industry who have travelled to the US with nothing but a dream and believing that he needed to make his own opportunity; he wrote a feature film ''The Butterfly Beast''. His next step is to travel and take this movie to Hollywood to establish himself in the United States.
